Brian EvensonYou know, the offense really got it going...three quarters too late. And it all just fell apart. 3 interceptions, 1 TD and less than 40 rushing yards? Such a monumental meltdown. Those 314 passing yards don't matter much if they only result in the one touchdown scored by the team. I'm putting it out there: if the Bears lose to the Browns (a winless team, and arguably the worst team this year) like they did to the Lions tonight, Fox better get a pink slip in his stocking. Giving up games like this in such a self-destructive way shows this team's biggest weaknesses: consistency and focus. I can't see the Fox era going much longer in Chicago if it means this kind of crap continues.

Troy OwensI would like the congratulate J.Fox. You’ve truly accomplished an amazing fete. To be the NFL’s oldest franchise’s most miserable coach is to soar beneath mind boggling lows. To constitute the most losing coach in Bear history is an ascending success in failure. But, to be the mccaskey’s worst hiring, in a commode of unending turd-age, is to triumph under Malthusian-like, ignominious, apocalyptically-bad loserdom that the human species has ever suffered. Bubonic plague, locusts, & scurvy have nothing on you. You’ve accomplished something special.

Michael SeayJohn fox has to go and pace’s job should be in question. Pace doesn’t make the correct moves we need in free agency and he’s had quite a few draft bust and vary questionable draft moves. The team is regressing week in and week out. They’re letting Trubisky throw the ball a little more and he turning it over when it counts. We could’ve gotten this kinda play out of cutler. The bears are the biggest dumpster fire in the league and until major front office changes are made this will be the type of performance we will continue to get.

5 hours ago   ·  3
Avatar

Steve GaylordWas shaking my head on the third and goal from the 5 interception. Horrible formation, had everyone bunched at the line of scrimmage. Spread the formation out and give the kid the whole end zone! Poor decision throwing into double coverage. I realize they have not much in the way of receiving threats, but the play calling is beyond horrible. Run, run, pass, punt. DC’s bring the blitz every third down. I think Trubisky can succeed, it will be years ahead though as they tear apart the coaching staff and roster, then rebuild.

John ZagarQuit blaming owners, coaches or QB, get some smarter players that won’t make a stupid penalty one after another. Same players over and over holding holding holding, you’ve been playing since childhood, get with it

Avatar

Shelton BeachThe consensus seems to be that our offense is the problem. Looked to me like our defense are the ones who put us out of the game. Twice, early on, we had stopped the Lions on third down only to have penalties. Those two penalties resulted in 10 points. And I believe that the only time we threw on first and second downs was on the first possession of the game. If you want to establish the run, you gotta run more than once. Same with passing. Our OC just is too conservative.

Frank ClarkI'm surprised not 1 pass over 20 yards. Trubisky has a great arm and should be throwing down 40-50 yards and if he doesn't hit there's a good chance of pass interference. Let this guy loose and show what he can do. Seems like he gets very conservative plays and just throws to where he's told and these crazy interceptions happen

Dalton RothNot sure why some of you are really hating Trubisky here. First off, he's a rookie, second he's got nothing great in receivers to throw to, and lastly, he, unlike other Bears QBs actually has emotion in this game. We essentially lost both of them, and everyone else worth keeping either literally or "spiritually" after that season. Grossman as backup QB until he left the team and Smith who was left to "build a team around Cutler". that's an actual quote from Bears brass by the way. Their worst mistake in team history. Lovie got shafted. So yeah, there's work to be done. Probably starting with firing literally all of the current staff..and getting almost an entirely new team. Or just selling the team. Paul L. RandI wish the Chicago Bears would try harder to find the right people to coach the Chicago Bears. The team is very undisciplined and it shows week after week. The players are weak and have no clue how to play their position. Too many penalties, and I wish they were all better. I know that teams can be as good as Green Bay, Pittsburgh or New England but gosh, you need to try harder to find excellent coaches that know how to coach.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm sick and goddamn tired of NFL refs calling holding ONLY when it will nullify a positive momentum-building play, for either side. They could call holding on every freakin' play, if they were so concerned about enforcing the rules.. This is just a way for the refs to influence the game's outcome, and it's BS.
