Phillip AbbinanteIt's a Happy Birthday everyday for Mr. White. Huge contract and barely even works for it. Some may call it "stealing". This is it, stay healthy, this is probably your last chance to remain a Bear if another injury occurs. Have a great day!

Bob PetersonYou have to admit it's kind of funny claiming he broke two ribs blowing out candles considering how he managed to hurt himself jogging ending his first season in training camp and then a non-contact injury to end his second season after a few games. Unfortunately some players seem snake-bitten injury-wise. Hopefully he can stay healthy this year and we can see what he can do. I didn't see a whole lot from him last year that gave me much hope though. My guess is it's a blown first round pick but that happens.

Jerod BlairI hope this kid can be the real deal, but there are advantages and disadvantages. He's 5'6, which means he's small and hard to see in an ocean of guys that are 6-4 to 6-8. Hard to see...Being closer to the ground, he has a low center of gravity, also a plus. He will be a sneaky back. Good for 3rd down conversions...Big guys lose vs small guys in the gravity dept, because they have to go so low. The downside is he is in the pro's now going up against guys who can hurl him with 1 arm, and he does not have breaking speed. It will be intresting to see how he holds up. I will hope for the best, but Howard is still my main man.

Jean Maas MillburgIf you have great work ethnics and will to change, improve his mechanics and listen to the coaches and trainers, study their playbook, be at every practice, show leadership and make the right play and the ball in the hands of the receiver to make big plays when they count. I hope he has a great opportunity and 1 and a life time chance to prove him self with the Bears. Maybe he and earn to get some playing time and become 2nd starter Quarterback on the roster instead of a bench warmer? I hope he can break out and have an opportunity to show us what he has during pre-season? Wish him lots of luck he does well. Hope he is able to have some playing time and proves him self as a rookie and a great contributor to the bears putting the numbers on the board to wins this season. It is tough for a rookie to have a chance to play, stay on the roster, end up on the practice squad or be cut all together after pre-season. I wish they would have minor league for Football for rookies to drafted in first. They prove them selves, learn the right mechanics, have a chance to play and work them selves up to a Major NFL team. Maybe they would have better players, professionalism in the NFL if they had that type of program for rookies in the NFL and move up to pro football calibur? It is sad they draft so many talented rookies and many don't get a chance to play barely pre-seaon and not enough to show their talent and they get cut from the team?

Brad SmithLifetime Bears fan, the Bears have no idea of how to develop a QB. Trubisky and Glennon have talent, but the Bears will have better luck building their run game and complimenting it with a controlled passing offense. They have no real receiving core and a so-so defense. I can's see them better than 6-10, but parting ways with Cutler needed to happen and everyone will see he wasn't the real problem. The Bears lack talent more than just at QB.

Garth HillIs there a reason why they keep leaving Eddie Jackson out of all the rookie stuff? I mean it's not like the dude isn't a national champion, played at one of the top universities if not the greatest university, not only that the dude can ball. I don't even know about this Coward guy and I've seen him more than Jackson

Mandy MhSchedule absolutely sucks, they didn't give 2 shits about our opponents lol! I think Trubisky is gonna be great & the media will eat there words on 3 years time! If ANOTHER TEAM took Trubisky it would've been the greatest move in the draft! Cuz it's us everybody has to deem it stupidity

David CreightneyY A W N....I refuse to set up for disappointment. By game 3 or 4, we will know what they really are. And my guess, they are not going to be much better than last year. I wish I can be more positive...but I have seen a Halas/McCaskey owned team for over 50 years. They are about making money off of us success starved fans, not winning. Because the owners make their money off season tickets and revenue sharing.

David CreightneyGeorge Halas perfected the concept of selling "hope tickets". Don't spend too much money on the roster, keep the fixed expenses low and keep the franchise in a state of rebuilding. The point is to dangle the hope of a competitive team annually to motivate the fans, to keep their butts in seats and buying gear. The last thing he wanted was a winning season regularly because it raised expenses. Case in point: Angelo admitting complacency after the their '06 SB appearance. And they have tanked ever since. After '63, '85 = 22 years; '85, '06 = 21 years; Therefore, my projection is 2026 or there about. Cynical? You bet! The McCaskeys are using the playbook from Papa Bear: designed mediocrity.

Naaman BogushAs a bears fan i agree with other comments about Urlacher and players walking around soldier field or in the locker rooms talking giving advice to players to really encourage to want to see a good season. As a bears fan! I think Brian Urlacher really kept the Chicago Bears locker all together as as performing as a team as a leader to play on Soldier field. A part of Chicago bears left the locker room when brian urlacher left as a bears fan. Brian Urlacher is one of the best Chicago Bear!

Pat HinichI'm excited about this years team, and haven't been for quite some time. Our running game is stacked with talent which should keep Glennon in manageable situations, and our D was coming on at the end of last year. We have a very difficult start on the schedule, but I could see us realistically going 7-9 and with a little luck maybe 9-7. Bear Down!

Ralph J. SerpicoI'm a die hard fan, 65 years. I see a big improvement this year if we can stay healthy. I like having a GM with conviction and a plan. Not sure Fox is the guy to take us to the next level. He's helping change the culture. Really like our defense led by Vic Fangio. Go Bears!

David HayI was there in 85 and i remember how cool it was if you were a Bears fan. Harbaugh, Singletary, Dent, Fridge and sweetness. Just hearing NFL bumper music would get my blood going. I hope I can feel that again and as they say - stupid is doing the same thing and expecting different results. So - I applaud management rolling the dice. Lets see what happens.
