All you guys hating Matt Ryan. Smh I bet you weren't when he won MVP or when we he led us to the superbowl that our D lost us. Go cheer somebody else if you're gunna sit on your couch and hate the team leader. Yeah he's gunna get a big pay check but if anything he deserves it. We have the team to win a ring. Don't jump back on the band wagon when we're back in the big game1 day ago · 15
I could see the promise in Shanahan's first year as OC, I knew that offense was headed somewhere. Under Sark I don't share that same comfort! He's going to need a huge jump in personal production before he's able to not only control, but run this HIGH POWERED offense of ours!1 day ago
Wish he'd take dimes... I've always been a fan of Matt Ryan, but the way his new contract might go is a bit upsetting... and more than likely will hurt the team when we have to resign our young talented players...1 day ago · 5
The hate for Ryan is so unfounded. Y'all act like he has had the exact same coordinators, playmakers, and top 5 oline with a great defense to boot, for his entire career and he just keeps finding creative ways to screw the pooch. The man has spent more time watching his oline fall apart like some exceptionally tender ribs than Nick Foles has spent playing QB his entire career. Hell, he's probably had more coordinators at this point than the Cleveland browns have had quarterbacks.23 hours ago
I know football is the biggest sport of man kind. But the money matt Ryan is about to receive. I’d do it for a fraction of that. And deliver to. I’m older but I’d lay it all out on the line for the fans of the ATL to bring a championship to the fans. Ryan needs to understand how big this would be. Besides his bank account!24 hours ago
Dimitrioff needs to be fired. Signing Matt Ryan for all that money, and still no Super Bowl.. we need to grab Solid Offensive Linemen. The talent we have now will have us in the playoffs every year, but we’re wasting those years by not getting a solid offensive line.2 days ago · 24
Y’all do realize that every team needs a blocking tight end right? I swear most falcons fans are dumb and don’t have a clue about football 🤦🏻♂️ this guy is also a good catcher if you go watch his highlights back in 2012. levine toilolo couldn’t catch a ball to save his life. Logan is a better version of Levine2 days ago · 69
Hows this... we trade Matt Ryan to Cleveland for their 2 #1 picks! Because aint no quarterback worth some $30 million. Then we draft an awesome new quarterback, set up the defense with some quality choices and still be under the Cap! I love Matty Ice but dude aint worth ditching the entire team for!2 days ago · 9
I don't know anything about this guy other than he has played in Kyle Shanahan's offense as a blocking TE, which means he is probably well suited to the zone blocking scheme that the Falcons use. So he's a plug and play guy with a low cap number to replace Toilolo.2 days ago · 5
So peeps talk all about Atlanta needing depth and then complain when they get depth. It's not like they was gon sign anyone better than Hooper.....they need to sign Hurns, someine who can actually catch the ball2 days ago · 6
We needed a blocking TE so just knocks off another thing off the small list. If we hit in the draft and Sarkisian learns this thing called football. We will do pretty good. Our season literally rest on Sarkisian's hands.2 days ago · 8
It’s all about protecting Ryan. You give him time....& he’ll dissect you. Our SB year....he was standing in the pocket throwing darts. This move is just more protection for the Ice Man......be thankful.....best QB we’ve ever had. If not.....jump off the wagon....jump on another teams nuts 🥜2 days ago · 4
Why are we constantly complaining about the negativity, and never satisfied with the accomplishment we have achieved!Yes it’s been disappointing not winning the super bowl and not making it too the 3rd round of the playoffs, but at least we got this far,and I say that’s about as good as any team, and to say it’s Ryan,it’s the whole team making mistakes! We could have had a lot worse season,so why complain about the past and cheer on the falcons.GO FALCONS!1 day ago · 1
If you don’t like the move you really don’t know how much of an upgrade he is compared to Levine the tightend we cut earlier this month I believe he’s a faster and better run blocker We needed depth at the position And hooper is our star tight end I expect him to be even better come year 3! So don’t be mad for us getting a nice cheap addition to our already great team whose missing tiny pieces!! R E L A X TD is doing his thing2 days ago
"There isin't a real massive press to get it done."
GM Thomas Dimitroff discussed the status of contract negotiations with Matt Ryan today at the University of Georgia Pro Day.

If he leaves he will show you just how average he is...might be worst ...i have seen Foles Keemun and cousins make throws Matt can’t make ...Matt’s alright but it’s been the talent around him stacking his numbers2 days ago · 8
I wouldn’t even stress it right now he’s not the type of person that will just leave the team if he doesn’t get what he wants or hold out. Does he deserve to be one of the highest paid QB stat wise no doubt. I personally say no without a ring I can’t justify destroying a team chance to make major moves down the line.2 days ago · 4
But I deserve to be overpaid without a ring. Don't cry Matt, you've made enough to buy plenty of baby pacifiers so you don't suck your thumb. But you're good at sucking, so maybe you should suck your thumb.2 days ago · 1
Basically he’s saying they have offered Matt a contract and it wasn’t enough. If you think otherwise look at it this way, they gave Freeman a new contract so they know what they can afford to give Matt. They low balled him and unless they pay up, he’s going to walk as he should.2 days ago · 1
Matt Ryan isnt just arbitrarily throwing out 30(+) Million Dollar/yr figures with almost all of it Guaranteed. That value was first set be the 49ers paying an untried and untested Garoppolo for $27.5M/yr, then the Vikings signed I haven't made the playoffs or even played at .500 for my career Kurt Cousin to $28M/yr fully Guaranteed. Matt Ryan is head and shoulders above both of those players so the Market Now demands that this ProBowl, League MVP, SB Appearing and multiple winning seasons QB be compensated well above $28M/yr. Don't blame Matt for a natural economic process. Arthur you have a choice. Pay him $30-35M/yr mostly Guaranteed or Trade Him. Its not hard. If I were Matt I wouldn't take less than $30M/yr fully guaranteed. Aaron Rodgers is just waiting, licking his chops at the prospect of making nearly $35-40M/yr, based on this Ryan Deal.1 day ago
Honestly if he is smart he stays with contract he has hit the market make a killing and get a Superbowl. Because at this rate Quinn and demittoff are going he will be 50 before we are close. People we are low on cap space already got nothing to do with his contract honestly if they would get it done might even help us this year and next....so please stop hating on the best qb this organization has ever had.2 days ago · 2
I dont think Quinn want to hamstring his defense trying to pay Matt Ryan, this is becoming a defensive team, not a throw it around the lot team, and you really dont need a 190 million dollar qb just to throw dink and dunk passes, and hand the ball off to the running backs2 days ago · 6

Not if you pay Matt Ryan a boat load of money while ignoring our needs on both defense and offense. Matt should take a pay cut for the good of the team. I am hoping for a great Superbowl winning season as well but let's be real about the team's needs. Said a loyal fan since the late 1960s.6 days ago · 15
If Falcons pay Matt Ryan they will be like the Detroit Lions, all their money tied up in their QB and WR and no money to spend on areas we really need help the lines. Let Ryan go and sign Bridgewater. Eagles proved a back-up can win a Superbowl with good linemen in place. Of course Blank would actually have to man up and fire his whole front office and get a real GM that actually knew how to evaluate NFL linemen, and Blank wont do this he's too much of a puss. He's rather have 8 former fired GMs bringing in C players that 1 good GM bringing in A players.3 days ago
We could if we got rid of Coleman... I mean Suh is out there Poe is still out there... We need Help!!! and Coleman is cheaper than Freeman and runs and blocks and catches as well.. That will free up money..1 week ago
One more concussion and he's done. And Coleman cant run East to West only North to South. If Coleman doesnt get his shoulders turned he's worthless and cant run between the tackles. Freeman is the better back but again he's one more concussion from being out of the league. Falcons running game in trouble soon.3 days ago

Why is everyone saying who?? Where are the real football fans??!! So confused! Does anybody on this feed know how many problems we had at right guard last season. Back up?????? Back up center maybe!! This guy is a solid starting right guard!!!! Great move Falcons!!! Now we just need Suh on the other side to make us a balanced team!!!1 week ago · 183
The Falcons are not going to add anyone of consequence. Not because they don't want go but because they can't financially do so. That's what happens when you pay your current players lots of money. Frankly we don't have too many holes so we dont need to add much anyway. The draft should take care of the few things we need to shore up1 week ago · 23
Draft te mike gesicki in the first and best available dt in the second, and slot wr in the third and I think we would be alright cuz I think this guard from niners can play especially cuz he wasn't fully healthy last year they say1 week ago · 2
Falcons actually have more cap money than they have had the last few years but looking like Ryan getting that huge payday with others coming behind him soon. Getting a right guard with experience at center for the price paid is a great deal. Now it opens up the ability to address the best player at several areas of need with the draft.1 week ago · 5
Jeeez! You plastic fans are in such hurry. We can sign someone today and release them after camp if there not a good fit. Trust in Quinn. #brotherhood. Btw its not a brotherhood if theres loads of new players every year. Quinn looks for hunger and aggression. You cant teach that.1 week ago · 11
I'm thinking depth player maybe a possible starter depending on what we do in the draft. Either way, that right guard position is a need and drafting a good starter and having a solid depth player to back him up will be very helpful in the grand scheme of things. I think people are getting upset because this isn't a flashy signing, but right now we have to keep cap space in mind, especially since we have Ryan's extension coming up soon and we will have to sign our young guns within the next couple of season. I would be more than happy to pass up Suh or Mathieu as those two guys are up there in age and are too pricy considering our current cap situation. If Dimitroff plays the cap right, we will have the opportunity for long term success. Better to draft needs then overpay for a big splash move in the FA. Those don't tend to work out as planned anyways.1 week ago · 1
